We have been using Oenosan® in the planting and maintenance of our gardens for many years and are very satisfied with the results of its use.
While planting our trees, we sprinkle some over the root ball before we fill the planting hole. A small amount is also applied immediately over the roots or root ball of our hedge plants and shrubs. Another quantity is later administered monthly through the watering tube around the root balls of the larger specimens, along with additional water that can be immediately absorbed by the roots. We always provide this during the first growing season along with about three nebuliser sprays over the foliage. This results in a significantly smaller number of dead plants and better root growth management in the first year.
As from the second year, the entire plant is only sprayed four to five times a year, from March/April until the end of September, and a one-off watering at the foot of the plants.
The existing plants have a bright, healthy look all year round and are more resistant to drought. Our perennial borders are also sprayed twice a year with Oenosan®, which certainly improves flowering and drought tolerance.
Potted plants are watered monthly with Oenosan®.
When Oenosan® is used on a regular basis in gardens, parks, or public green spaces in combination with a well thought-out biodiversity range, the use of pesticides can be avoided. At least, this is what we’re seeing in our gardens.
In short, Oenosan® is a versatile and reliable fertiliser that can arm our plants and nature against the vagaries of the weather, now and in the future.
Vineyard
We have been happily using Oenosan® in our vineyard for years. The plants are always a bright green and clearly show vitality. We use it a little more often during droughts, but also at set times throughout the season. The plants respond visibly well, resulting in a better grape harvest and higher wine quality. You can just see that they’re ‘happy’.
City of Damme
The City of Damme has been using Oenosan® in its public spaces for a long time. We notice better drought resistance, especially in new tree and hedge plantings. Thanks to Oenosan®, young hedges even survived bone-dry summers. We also had good results in controlling unwanted weeds, such as nettles and Equisetum. The product helps us make green spaces stronger and more sustainable.
Nursery owner
We’ve been using Oenosan® at our nursery since 2017. We sprinkle this on the root balls of our multi-stemmed and solitary plants as a root stimulant. And the results are great! Little or no wastage and, above all, healthy plants and satisfied clients! From spring to autumn, all our plants are always given a foliar treatment early in the morning… (since the early bird gets the worm). With fewer diseases and fungi, species like Amelanchier retain their leaves longer! Visible results both above and below ground… thanks to just 1.5 g/l of water… this is great economically, too!
